This web service provides real-time schedules of flights (passenger flights and freighters) and truck operation within the Emirates SkyCargo network. There are a variety of schedule types that customers can query for based on their specific needs and the same are listed below:
- Date Specific Schedules - allows customer to query for schedules between an origin-destination pair for a specific date with flight & truck operation connections.
- Operational Schedule - allows customers to query for schedules between an origin-destination pair for all operating periods from the date of query. Flight and truck operation connections are also available.
- Flight from a City - allows customer to query for flights and trucks departing a selected airport
- Complete Timetable - allows customers to download the complete flights (passenger & freighters) and truck operating schedule in an MS Excel format.
The web service allows for selection of a flight schedule combination and query for available space on those flights.
This web services provides customers with information on space available on any of Emirates SkyCargo's flights and trucks. The web services allows for checking space availability with connections, for a specific weight and on specific flights. It is possible to select a flight combination with available capacity to make a booking request on the flight/s. It is also possible to navigate to the price quote web service to get a price for shipping on the selected origin-destination pair.
Get a Quote
The price quote web service is interlinked with the product booking service such that customers can get a price not only for airport-to-airport service but also for door-to-door service. The price provides details of freight charges and other charges at origin as well as estimated other charges payable at destination if the customer does not opt for door services at destination. For door-to-door services, details of charges at origin and destination are provided. This range of price details helps customers to make a decision on the type of service that they would like to use.
The booking service allows customers to make bookings on all flights and trucks operating on marketed routes in the Emirates SkyCargo network. Bookings can be made well in advance up to as much as a year in advance. Using this web service, customers can utilise their document stock assigned to them, utilise the space allotments issued to them, clearly define the goods being shipped with appropriate used of industry defined commodity codes, special handling codes, product codes and shipment dimensions. This web service allows customers to source for available flights on the required origin-destination pair if the customer has not already check flights schedules. This web service also allows for registering most of the information that is required for completion of the contract i.e. the air waybill.
Customers are provided the capability to amend bookings before the goods are tendered to the airline. In addition they can setup templates to speed up making bookings of similar nature and setup the proactive shipment status notifications.
The air waybill web service allows customers to complete and air waybill contract. Customers are provided with a replica of the actual air waybill on screen. Adding to the familiarity of the air waybill document, most of the information is sourced from the booking made earlier and with automated rating working in the background, completing the air waybill contact becomes a breeze for customers with the need to enter only a few data elements. With all the necessary information updated, customers can actually preview the air waybill, make changes if necessary and then only finalise the contract.
This web service has security features to ensure that contract information is accessible to only the owners of the contract.
Due to Customs regulations, submission of house waybills is mandatory for clearing freight through Customs at certain destinations. The house waybill web services provides customer to do just that which no additional cost. Importantly, it allow customers to take control and declare mandated information for all house air waybill related to a master air waybill without any distortion of information. This web service also allows customers the ability to make amendment of house waybill data or delete house waybills records within an allowed time window.
Accompanying documentation such as invoices, certificate of origin, etc. are necessary for export and import Customs pre-clearances. Customers can now upload electronic copies of all such documentation using the SkyPouch web service and tag it to the respective air waybill records. It replaces traditional paper and also minimises or removes the transmission of large file attachments sent through email.This web service ensures that the uploaded documentation is secure and visible to only the owner of the documents who can manage the uploaded documents and share the documents with their partners in the shipment life cycle.
The cargo tracking web service keeps customers up-to-date with the progress of their shipments movement in the shipment life-cycle. The detailed tracking response clearly indicates historically the movement of the shipment. Customers can track up to 10 shipments at a single instance. In addition to the cargo tracking service through the website, customers can also track shipments by email and SMS too.
